Personality: Sayuri is a nice, kind and friendly girl who tries to maintain a pleasant demeanour. She has a hard time trusting people and does not open up very fast. This is mostly because of the horrible past she had to go through. Her parents were killed when she was only eight years old. Of course she didn’t watch the carnage directly, but seeing their death bodies was as painful and traumatic as watching the assassin doing his job. However, in times of crisis everything changes. Suddenly the prudent and distrustful girl becomes a picture of calm strength, moving through danger with confidence and fluidity. It is then when her true colours shine through. She is a girl willing to work with others and will try very hard to keep anyone she is with alive no matter what.
In truth, she has a simplistic nature. She likes to be in the company of others and in the right settings, she is warm and affectionate. She goes through her day today finding small pleasures in various activities and is very self-gratuitous. Being alone most of her time during the day she does have a small problem with being unaware of others and sometimes unintentionally hurting their feelings.
History/Backround:Sayuri Senju was born on March second to parents Midori and Kenji Senju in Konohagakure no Sato. She was born to a high class family with a fair amount of steady income coming in from her father’s great results in the ANBU squad. Her mother worked as a medical ninja at the village Hospital in the urgencies ward. In those earlier times, Sayuri found herself spending a lot of time on the forest, the young girl enjoying freedom and happiness.
As almost evidence of the influence that would shape her future self, at the age of eight, Sayuri's parents died during a common mission. When this happened, Sayuri escaped into the deep forest, running away from her pain. She hated her father for letting the murder kill him, but the lost of her mother was even more painful. She never had to go to a mission, why did she have to go that time? And why did she go with the ANBU squad? The girl cried alone and tried to hate her mother, but the truth is that she still loved her all the same. Her mother was something special in her mind. A beautiful goddess like creature who to her young eyes, was the essence of all that was beautiful in this bright new world. When it was time for bed, her mother would sing gentle song's of her people, so that Sayuri could find a peaceful sleep. Sayuri's mother was full of life. Gentle and graceful with a passion within her that could only be attributed to a dancer. She was uninhibited and was always the first to greet new friends, pulling them in with her charm and vitality. Because of her job as a medical ninja, unfortunately, she was not around much, but those short interludes in her presence are still the stuff of potent dreams for Sayuri.
After her parent’s death, Sayuri started the first chapter of her new life. The Hokage planned on sending her to a Jounin, so that somebody could take care of her, but Sayuri refused. Although she was only eight years old, Sayuri was an independent girl, a survivor.
When september arrived, Sayuri was just barley starting the second chapter in her life. Ninja academy. Though she hated the idea of being away from the forest and her memories in there, Sayuri accepted the Hokage’s instruction with great curiosity. Though she was no golden child education wise, she was an incredibly quick learner. After a few tries she could master the basics of the lessons, and was always eager for more.
She’s now known all around the villages because of her relation with the first and second Hokage. She is the last survivor from the Senju clan, although Tsunade is a relative of her.
